Millions of Butterflies
Trillions of silkworms are bred every year to produce silk. Most of them pupate and die from the boiling water in the cocoon.
Our silkworms pupate, develop into silk moths in the cocoon and are then allowed to hatch. The cocoons are only then processed into silk yarn.
The silk butterflies are allowed to continue their natural life cycle.
That's why our team includes millions of butterflies that complete their metamorphosis every year. There are various butterflies that provide us with raw materials for producing silk.
