A hat is of great importance at the first days of the newborn, as a lot of the baby's important warmth is lost through the head. Newborns are not yet able to maintain their body temperature very well on their own - unlike older children and adults. It is important that babies wear a hat that maintains their own body temperature, is breathable and does not cause heat build-up. It doesn't matter what time of year your baby was born! Excess heat and moisture is absorbed by the materials we use in our products and released back into the outside air.
