Medium-weight shiny satin dyed in beautiful lilac

Beautifully shiny fabric made of soft mulberry silk (in warp and weft) dyed with natural logwood. The logwood brings out a beautifully lustrous shade of lilac on the satin. Particularly suitable for festive clothing: dresses, blousses, shirts, vests, skirts... and bed clothing.

The silk is from an organic agriculture and non-violent production.

The short pieces of the fibers from the empty cocoons are traditionally spun and machine woven whereby the fabric gets its unique character. Please note that digital photos can only approximate the shade and brightness of the fabric.
