The silk comes from an organic agriculture and non-violent production. The short pieces of the fibers from the empty cocoons are traditionally spun and machine woven whereby the fabric gets its unique character.
The silk fabric is printed in single process without any pre- or post-treatment all silk fabrics of our assortment. With this one-step technology, this printer does not use a single drop of water. The high water consumption and the resulting wastewater are the environmentally problematic factors when printing with conventional inkjet printers. The ink is GOTS approved and OEKOTEX100 certified.
