Mid-weight lustrous satin in a very delicate yellow

Beautifully lustrous weave of soft mulberry silk (in warp and weft) dyed with marigold (calendula). The marigold brings out a beautifully shiny and soft yellow on the satin. Particularly suitable for festive outerwear: dresses, skirts, blouses, shirts, waistcoats... and of course bed linen. Also suitable for baby products.

The silk is from organic farming and produced without violence (organic and non-violent silk). The short silk threads of the empty cocoons are traditionally spun and machine-woven, giving the fabric its distinctive character.
